Bobba was a Picture Frame Maker and Gilder and a great motorbike enthusiast. He served in WWI during which time he contracted Malaria which returned in annual bouts. He eventually died as a result. He died at Edmonton Military Hospital leaving three young children, Esme Cabrera (1911-1976), Catherine (1914-1998) and Maurice (1916-2000). His widow Maud survived him by 50 years.
