Violet married Edgar Max Bartschi on 14 January 1942 and is buried next to him.
After Max's death she married Rawson Dewey Child on 25 July 1978.

Vicky Bartschi Child was born on July 4, 1923 to parents, William and Marianna Hirschi of Montpelier, Idaho. She was one of seven children. At 18, Vicky was swept off her feet by a tall, handsome young man and became the blushing bride of E. Max Bartschi, Jan. 14, 1942. They were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. Vicky and Max became the parents of three daughters, Julia Ann (Judy), Maxine and Janet. After the death of her husband, Max, Vicky married Rawson D. Child and four new step-children joined her family – Dennis Child, Joy Phillips, Nannette Gee and Colene Yates.

Vicky is survived by sisters, Lou Gantenbein and Betty Jean Bienz and one brother, Frank W. Hirschi. She was the beloved grandmother and great-grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 20 step-grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 57 step-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and 4 great-great-step-grandchildren. Vicky is preceded in death by her husbands Max Bartschi and Rawson Child; step-son Dennis Child; sisters Helen Stone, Mildred Tueller and Brother, Melvin Hirschi.

The “Celebration of Life” for Vicky Child will be held March 15, at 11 a.m. at Schwab-Matthews Mortuary. Vicky Child RGB
