WITHERBEE — Mary Cook, 79, of Witherbee, N.Y., died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
She was born April 14, 1927, in Witherbee, N.Y., the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Hickey) Cook.
Mary was a member and former chaplain of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5802 ladies auxiliary, the Town of Moriah Senior Citizens, a 20-year member of RSVP and former member of the Catholic Daughters.
She was a communicant of All Saints Church in Mineville.
Arrangements by the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at the All Saints Church in Mineville.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Moriah.
