PEPPARD--September 10, 1971, Clarence Matthew, aged 81 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Ruth Peppard, DeWinton, Alberta. Also surviving are three brothers, Dr. Harold Peppard, Palm Beach, Florida, Murray D. Peppard, Detroit, Michigan and Stuart Peppard, Calgary. Predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. Born at Delbert, Nova Scotia, Mr. Peppard came west in 1910 and settled at Acadian Valley, Alberta. In 1925 he came to the Midnapore and DeWinton district and resided there since. He served overseas with the 89th Battalion and later with the 31st Battalion and was wounded in France.
