This edit involves every genealogists nightmare: two couples with same names. Gysbert 1835-1894 & Nellie De Jong 1839-1896 are my direct ancestors, my Dad's mother's parents. Gysbert 1848-1920 & Nellie De Jong 1853-1910 are not closely related. See Nellie's obituary (1910) on Findagrave in Dutch which names Andrew W. and that he is adopted (aangenomen). Also, 1895 census, p.430 Marion County shows Gys A. 46, Nieltje 41, Andrew 23, & his new bride Maggie 20., which ages match the the younger Gys & Nellie parents. Ancestry posting is also wrong.
