William S. Marks, aged 67, of rural route No. 3, died Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock in his home after a year's illness. He was born in Lakeville, this county, April 4, 1867. The widow, formerly Miss Mary Holmes, survives with three daughters, Mrs. Eva Freet, of Grovertown, Ind.; Mrs. Maude Dooley, of Elkhart, Ind.; and Mrs. Pearl Hively, of South Bend; and six sons, William E., of Wakarusa, Ind., M. T., Charles A., Lloyd M. and Clarence E. of Elkhart, and John W., of Goshen. The body may be viewed in Miller-Willis mortuary. Short prayer services will be held there Sunday noon. The body will be taken to Grovertown for funeral services and burial there Sunday afternoon.
