Norman J. Abbey, age 64 died Tuesday February 9, 1971 at Trinity Hospital after a long illness. Born September 16, 1906 in Great Bend, KS, he married his wife on May 18, 1929 in Macksville, KS.
He was a police sergeant and lived here most of his life.
Left behind to remember him are his wife, four sons, his brother of Wichita, KS, 3 sisters of Liberal, KS along with four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Swaim Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred H. Cowles, presiding.
