Mrs. Florence L. Stanley, age 91 of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. She was the daughter of the late John and Rosa Stanley Mann and was a member of Ellijay Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Stanley, sisters Othella Stanley, Josie Aaron, Mollie Waters and Dollie Evans, brothers Robert, Paul, Elmer and Willie Mann, half-brother Dewey Cochran and half-sisters Lola Weeks and Mary Stanley.
Mrs. Stanley is survived by two sons and two daughters. Thirteen grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home, with Minister Butch Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Stanley Creek Church of Christ Cemetery in Fannin County, Georgia. The family will receive friends Friday, October 17, 2014 from 4:00-8:00pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
