He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Monteal Chapman; brother, Don Chapman.
Survivors include his daughter, Jill Chapman Hanson and husband, Kevin of Pineville, LA; grandchildren, Travis Parker of Lebanon, KY; Krista Shannon and husband, Daniel of Germany; Desiree Hunter and Fiancé, Zach Walleser of Alexandria, LA; great-grandchildren, Eleanor Shannon of Germany; one great-grandchild due in February; sisters, Pat Love and husband, Jimmy of Ruston, LA; Judy Chapman of Dallas, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Grant Hill, Gene Gray, Jeff Boughton, Robert Harwell, Tommy Poindexter, and Buddy Hawthorne.
