WEBSTER — Dewey Bray, 81, died Saturday, July 14, 2012.

Mr. Bray was born in Gatliff, KY. He was a member of Croom Road Baptist Church and a retired heavy equipment mechanic. He loved fishing and camping, and enjoyed working on watches and old clocks.

Survivors include his wife, Pat; sons Randy D., Sumterville, Andy "Ben," Sumterville, and Jimmy L., Sumterville; stepsons Steven Watkins, Fayetteville, Ohio, David Watkins of California, and Ed Watkins, Bradenton; daughter, Mary Sumner, Sumterville; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Purcell Funeral Home Chapel, Bushnell. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Purcell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Clark presiding.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Lane Purcell Hospice House, 2452 CR 526 E., Sumterville, FL 33585.

Arrangements are under the direction of Purcell Funeral Home, Bushnell.

Dewey Bray, 81, of Webster, FL, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Sumterville, FL. He was born June 17, 1931 in Gatliff, KY. Mr. Bray was a member of Croom Road Baptist Church and a retired heavy equipment mechanic. He loved fishing, camping, and enjoyed working on watches and old clocks.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Pat Bray of Webster, FL; sons, Randy D. (Kathy) Bray of Sumterville, FL, Andy "Ben" Bray of Sumterville, FL, and Jimmy L. (Tamie) Bray of Sumterville, FL; stepsons, Steven (Julie) Watkins of Fayetteville, OH, David Watkins of California, and Ed Watkins of Bradenton, FL; daughter, Mary (Lester) Sumner of Sumterville, FL; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Frankie Bray.
