Mrs. Jennie Dilley Ray, aged 80, a resident of Venango County all her life, died at 6:30 o'clock Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Cooper, 84 Prospect Avenue, Prospect Park. She had been ill for five years and four months. She was born in Frenchcreek Township March 31, 1855. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Donald Ray of Reno; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Cooper; a sister, Mrs. Rachel Wagner, aged 90, of Sugarcreek; eight grandchildren; and the great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Cooper residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. B. E. Coleman, pastor of the First Evangelical Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
