Parents unknown on DC, she married William Ray, was widowed, lived at 84 Prospect Ave, Rocky Grove, died there of a cerebral hemorrhage and senility, per death certificate 91669, whose informant was Earl Cooper of the same address. Buried Oct 23 1935.

Per Pennsylvania Marriages, on Mar 8 1887 in Venango County, Jennie Dolan, 31, daughter of Robert Dille, married William Ray, 29, son of David and Melissa Ray.

Per 1870 census, Jane A. Dille was daughter of Robert and Mary Dille, lived in Frenchcreek Twp.

The 1910 census shows her as Jane Hogue, living with son, Donald Ray, in Sugarcreek Twp.

The Franklin News-Herald, Tuesday, Oct 22 1935:
Mrs. Jennie Dilley Ray, aged 80, a resident of Venango County all her life, died at 6:30 o'clock Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Cooper, 84 Prospect Avenue, Prospect Park. She had been ill for five years and four months. She was born in Frenchcreek Township March 31, 1855. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Donald Ray of Reno; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Cooper; a sister, Mrs. Rachel Wagner, aged 90, of Sugarcreek; eight grandchildren; and the great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Cooper residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. B. E. Coleman, pastor of the First Evangelical Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
