She was born in Pine Bluff, W.Va., on May 14, 1927, the daughter of the late Ercel and Gola Parsons.
Wanda was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 50 years, Lawrence Walter McCracken.
Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted children, Jerry (the late Brenda Sue) McCracken, Connie (James) Brannam and Penny Norman; her six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and her dear sister, Maudell Smith.
A Graveside Service to honor her life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5250 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Beckley.
Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley is serving the family.
