FEASTER SERVICES SCHEDULED


Lewisville – Funeral services for C. R. "Tommy" Feaster, former Lewisville city councilman and mayor pro tem, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Ralph Fellers will officiate. Burial will be at Old Hall Cemetery.

Mr. Feaster, 49, died Tuesday at his home, 1043 Shadywood, after a lengthy illness.

He was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Denton. He served six years in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Ford Motor Company. Mr. Feaster served eight years on the Lewisville City Council, four years as mayor pro tem. Mr. Feaster also served on the Lewisville Planning and Zoning Commission.

He was the commander of the VFW post of Lewisville. He married Marie Parker in Dallas in 1947.

Survivors include his wife, Marie, of Lewisville, his mother, Alma Feaster of Lewisville, and two sons, Randy Feaster and Barry Feaster, both of Lewisville.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Cobb, Dr. Jerry Damon, Judge Sam Houston, Chief Henry Benson, Tommy Nations, and Truett Cobb. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Boenker, Joe Ackley, Dr. Don Anderson, Tom Reid, Johnny Sartain, and Bob Hogan.

Lucas-Harden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
