Aloysius was born in Ciche, Czarny Dunajec, Poland. He was the son of Andrew Szymusiak and Rozalia Zielinski. He married Helen Szaflarski on May 2, 1931 at St. Adalbert Church in Chicago, IL.; Ladislaus(Walter)Szaflarski and Bronislawa Szymusiak were witnesses. They had a daughter, Joan, who was born Dec 23, 1936 but lived for only 15 days. Aloysius died in 1937 at the age of 29 years.
