Carolyn L. Farmer, age 70, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her residence. She was born on December 31, 1943 in Denver, CO to the late John Edford & Helen Edith Snyder Smith. She was formerly employed with Cosmolab and was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie Smith, Bonnie Mathias, Janie Smith and brother, Lynn Baker. Mrs. Farmer is survived by her husband, Stephen Farmer, daughter, Sherri Swann, son, Stephen (Sharleen) Farmer, Jr., sisters, Darlene Schat, Pat McMurtry, Sherri Smith, brother, Daniel Smith, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in Melson Cemetery with Rev. Bob Mullenix officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of services.
