Mallory, Tommye D. EL CAJON-- Tommye Mallory, 71, was born July 24th, 1942 and passed away on December 7, 2013 in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to Tommye living in Payson, AZ, for the past 18 years, she was a longtime resident of over 50 years in El Cajon, CA. She worked for over 30 years at Home Federal Savings and Loan. Tommye was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Mallory; son, Jim Mallory; father, Thomas Young; and his mother, Eddie Maye Young. She is survived by her son, Pete (Lisa) Mallory of Escondido, his children (Tommye's grandsons), Ryan and Michael Mallory; granddaughter, Brittany Dunn of Lakeside, CA. (daughter of Jim Mallory); sisters, Margaret Doren of El Cajon, and Catherine McNeil of Dallas, TX; brother, Douglas Richard Young of Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tommye had the gift of having so many close friends from school, clubs and work while being able to stay in touch with them over the years. Tommye was loved by family and friends and will be sorely missed. Graveside services will be held in the latter part of January, 2014, at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego.
