The son of Mildred (Wardle) and Edward B. Rempe, he was born June 1, 1956, in Dallas, Texas.
A graduate of Central Lee Community High School, Donnellson, Iowa, he was an employee of Safety Plus Inc. of Toledo.
Mr. Rempe was a member of the Bryan Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
On Dec. 16, 1978, he married Doris F. Zaleski in Fort Madison, Iowa, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael B. at home; his parents, of Argyle, Iowa; and four sisters, Mrs John (Pamela) Goldsberry of Fort Madison, Iowa, Mrs. Rasoul (Melissa) Poursmaili of Germany, Darla Collins of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Jerry (Sara) Miller of Fort Madison, Iowa.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Bernard, in 1974.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 802 S. Main St., Bryan, with Roy Nelson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa.
The Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
