Naomi was born Sept 9, 1911 in Tioga, TX to the late James Marion & Mary (Clifton) Pierce. She died Monday, October 13, 2014 in Davis, at the age of 103 years 1month and 4 days. Naomi & Lewis D. Tuley were married on Nov 10, 1932 in Ardmore. He preceded her in death on Nov 12, 1960. Others preceding her in death include one grandson, Steven Chivers, three brothers, and 2 sisters.

Naomi moved from Texas to Oklahoma in 1913, at the age of two years old. She grew up in Ravia, where she graduated from high school in 1932. In 1934, she and Lewis moved west of Davis, where they farmed and raised their family. Naomi was a very talented lady when it came to art and crafts. Whether it was learning to paint at the age of 70, sewing or crocheting, her work was simply beautiful. Naomi loved to garden, planting and tending her last garden at the young age of 99. She spent countless hours hoeing her gardens and flower beds, a task that she enjoyed greatly, until the age 102. Naomi was a devoted member of the Victory Baptist Church in Katie and faithfully attended, until failing health prevented her from doing so.

Survivors include one son, Dennis Tuley & wife Betty; daughter, Teddy Chivers & husband Ed, both living west of Davis on the family farm; five grandchildren, Philip Chivers, Mark Chivers & wife Leisa, Donna Martin & husband Terry, Richard Tuley & wife Lorrie and Keith Tuley; as well as seven great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandson.
