Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Jean Gibson, age 88, of Ruston, LA are scheduled for 11 AM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crossroad Cemetery, Crossett, AR under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM Wednesday, October 15 at Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gibson, a retired LPN at Morehouse General Hospital, lived her life as a loving caregiver in the roles of daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, and served as pastors wife to her soul mate.


Mrs. Gibson is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Zack E. Gibson, parents, Leland and Gladys Bays; brothers, Ira Lane Bays, James Lamar Bays; son-in-law, Leroy "Dinky" Robinson.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. Revelations 21:4
