Francis A. "Shank" Clark,92, of Connersville died Wednesday October 4, 2006 at the Heritage House Nursing Center.

He was born October 19, 1913 in Connersville, IN, one of two children of Rylie and Jesse Traylor Clark.

On March 7, 1936, he was married to Frances L. Turney in Lawerenceburg, IN. Mrs. Clark died September 26, 1968.

He was formerly employed with Eastside Fuel Company, American Kitchens and Design & Manufacturing, retiring in February of 1979 after 50 years of employment.

On November 14, 1975 he was married to Rena Adams of Connersville. Mrs. Clark survives.

He was a member of the Alquina United Methodist Church.

Survivors beside his wife Rena, include: one daughter, Loretta Short and husband William of Connersville; one son, Charles "Chuck" Clark and wife Karen of Connersville; two step-daughters, Anita Scott and husband George and Arleen Myers and husband Ron all of Liberty; two step- sons, Roger Adams and wife Sharon and Roy Adams, all of Connersville; 8 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Freddie Clark and Ronald Lee Clark and one brother, Ivan Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, October 9, 2006 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Rev. Robin L. Short and Rev. Carol R. Wiley officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-7 PM on Sunday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alquina United Methodist Church.
