Leslie Leroy Bintzler, the infant son of Nick and Thelma Bintzler, was born 8 Nov 1927 at Grafton, Wis and passed away Sunday morning 24th June at 10 o’clock at their home in Grafton, his illness being pneumonia. He was just seven months and 15 days old. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Bintzler, there survive him one sister Leatha, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pattison of Arlington and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Bintzler of Grafton, Wis and also one great-grandfather Mr. Jesse W Holtzman of Lanark, Illinois and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Warren Wood home conducted by Rev. Daniel M Parker. Interment was in Grandview Cemetery.
Poem:
We had a little treasure once,
He was our joy and pride;
We loved him, ah, perhaps too well,
For soon he slept and died.
All is dark within our dwelling,
Lonely are our hearts today,
For the one we loved so dearly,
Has forever passed away.

The seven months old baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Bintzler of Grafton, Wis was brought back here for burial. The funeral services were held at the Charley Wood home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Mr. and Mrs. Bintzler were former residents of this locality. (Mrs. Charley Wood was Thelma’s sister.)
