S. R. Talkington died yesterday afternoon at the Hardy sanitarium, after a long and lingering illness. His remains were taken to Mill Creek, Okla., this morning and will be laid to rest in the cemetery at that place this afternoon.
He is survived by three children, all grown. They are S. R. Talkington, of this city; Gus Talkington, of Mill Creek, and Mrs. House, of Lamar, Okla. A sister of the deceased Mrs. Benefield arrived from her home in Texarkana, Texas, and left with the family for Mill Creek this morning.
