She was born at Fort Totten, New York, the daughter of Irving Lehrfeld and Naomi Glazer. In 1958, she married Donald Fisch. She attended Berkeley University and worked in administrative support. She also worked in lien research for CBMS. A resident of Marion, Iowa, she died at the age of 81 years on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Arrangements were by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Interment was at West Point Cemetery, New York. Survivors included one daughter, one son and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Naomi Lehrfeld, her brother, Bill Lehrfeld and her son-in-law, Rick Glanz.
