Minnie married Joseph Price Ingram, son of Charles Ingram and Jane Catherine Mackey on 1 Nov 1891 in Cedar Co, MO.
They had five children: Virgil Benjamin (Bert), Amba Coral, Charles Isam, Eulos Price and Retha Marie.
After their oldest son Virgil had visited eastern Montana in 1912 and wrote glowing letters home, Joseph and Minnie packed up the kids and moved to Baker, Montana in 1913. They settled in a sod-house near Baker, where they remained for three years. They then built a house and settled on their homestead southwest of Ekalaka.
Joseph Price Ingram died in 1925 and within two years, Minnie married Carter Skaggs. Carter died sometime in the 1940s and Minnie did not remarry. Minnie died in San Bernardino and was buried in Mountain View Cemetery.
In 1927, Minnie and Carter moved to Jericho Springs, Missouri to take care of Minnie's aged mother,Jane Tibbs (Hall) Robinson. Jane was an 80-year-old widow, and was unable to care for herself. Minnie continued to care for her for another nine years.
The middle initial on her headstone is "I" which was for her married name from her first marriage "Ingram".
