Services for Charles I. Chandler, 68, of Post will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church of Post with the Rev. John Hedrick and the Rev. Ken Horn, Hospice Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow at the Terrace Cemetery under the personal care of Justice-Mason Funeral Home.


Mr. Chandler died Thursday, March 23, 2006. Born April 11, 1937 to Irvin and Louzell Shepherd Chandler. He attended school at Close City and then graduated from Post High School. He farmed around Floydada and returned to Post in 1979. Survivors include four daughters, Revis Pernell of Canadian, JanAn Diver of Ransom Canyon, LeShay Everett of Floydada and Valynda Chandler of Southland; one sister, Tommie Woods of Post.; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Leta Davis.


Memorials are suggested to the NursCare Hospice, 1312 Texas Avenue, Lubbock, TX 79401.
