Russell T. Diehl, 89, of 2279 Valley View Lane, Hellertown, formerly of Philadelphia, died Thursday in Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, Hellertown.
He worked in the fabricating shop of Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 39 years until retiring in 1967.
Born in Churchville, Bucks County, he was a son of the late William H. and Lydia N. Diehl.
Survivors: Daughter, April E., wife of Gregory R. Bealer, with whom he resided; stepdaughter, Betty M., wife of Ronald B. Taylor of Orefield; a grandson, six step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday.
