MONROE CO. - IOWA =====#=======The family and friends of Frank Graham were shocked by the news of his death which occurred about nine o'clock Saturday morning near Benville where he was working in the timber making railroad ties. Mr. Graham had been in his usual health when left home Saturday morning, but had been complaining for some time of weak and tired feeling when at work. The coroner's verdict was that the death resulted from heart failure. The body was brought to Tarrant Funeral Home Saturday afternoon and the funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, In charge of Rev. W. M. Porter. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Anna Bradbury, Mrs. Pearl Aike, Will Smith and J.R.Ham. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Ralph Hall, Mrs. Elmer Smith, Christine Smith and Louise Hall. The pall bearers were L. E. Fagan; Roy Tarrant; fred Pool; Homer Smith; Havery Brim and L.G. McWane. Benjamin Franklin Graham was born at Unionville,Iowa, May 26, 1871. He was a son of A. F. and Mary Jane Graham. He followed the occupation of farming until twenty six years of age when took up factory work. In 1916 he was united in marriage to Gertrude Kauffman. To this union was born one son, Howard Franklin who with five step sons, John, Harold, James, Court and Wilbur Kauffman and one step-daughter, Lois Bradshaw, Survive. Besides these, Mr. Graham leaves three brothers and three sisters,John W. of Meadville, Neb., James L., of CentervilleIa., W. Scott,of Prophetstown.
