Son of Eva Resinger, father unknown on DC, he married Emma Bennett, was a welder for Oil Well Supply, lived at 421 E. 3rd St, Oil City, died in Franklin Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage due to arteriosclerotic HCVD, per death certificate 32697, whose informant was his wife. Buried Mar 19 1970.

Oliver Masterson and Miss Olive Pearl Cauvel, both of Oil City, were married Monday afternoon at the Church of God with Rev. A. G. Herr officiating.

Oliver Masterson, 70, of 412 E. 3rd St., Oil City, died at 11:55 am in Franklin Hospital. He was born May 28, 1899 in Oakland Township.

He was welder at Oil Well Supply, retiring in 1955, and was appointed a school guard on Grant St. for several years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Oil City, and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Franklin.

He married Olive Cauvel, who died Nov. 13, 1953. On March 19, 1955, he married Emma Bennett, who survives, with children, William L. Masterson of Erie, Mrs. Purvis (Geraldine) Wimer of Oil City, Gene E. Masterson of Franklin RD 1, Mrs. E. T. (Shirley) Zakutney of Franklin, Mrs. Greta Manning of Franklin Star Route, Mrs. Eugene (Ruth) Nelson of Titusville, Mrs. Guy (Marjorie) Forbes of Oil City RD 1, and Robert L. Bennett of Oil City; 34 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Deceased is a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Myers.

Services will be at Burger Funeral Home with Rec. Raymond W. Wyppich, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
