Nix, Claire Ellen age 96, b. St. Louis, d. Keene NH. Claire was predeceased by her parents Edward D. Nix and Claire Berry Nix and two brothers (Billy and Eric); she is survived by her sister Margaret (Peggy) Nix Merrell, five nieces and ten grandnieces/nephews. Claire was a graduate of Radcliffe College and lifelong assistant/secretary to Heinrich Bruning, Chancellor of Germany 1930-32, as well as editor of his posthumous memoirs. For this service, she received distinguished recognition from the German government. Private interment of cremains will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.
