A Families' Tribute
It is with sadness that we think of the death of our father, Alexander Faidley. We sadly realize the loss of our loved one.Yet our loss is his eternal gain.He bore his sufferings with a Christian attitude and was ready to go when his Master called.
We miss thee from our home, dear father,
We miss thee from thy place,
A shadow o'er our life is cast,
We the sunshine of that fact
We miss thy kind and willing hand,
Thy fond and loving care,
Our home is dark without thee, father,
we miss you everywhere.
Now we see his vacant chair,
Now we raise his presence there,
Now we think in time of past,
And see him waiting for the light.
Oh. why weep for the departed
