Colleen Winegar Tippetts Salisbury 1931 ~ 2007 Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Colleen Winegar Tippetts Salisbury, left this earth to return home at the young age of 75, in Woods Cross, Utah, on Saturday, September 1, 2007. Cause of death is contributed to heart failure.

Born September 4, 1931 to John Elias and Lena Veora Thalmann Winegar, who preceded her in death. Just days away from her 76th birthday, that she may now celebrate with loved ones who also preceded her in death: her late husband, John Frank Salisbury and her former husband, Farrell Jay Tippetts. During her life, residing in Woods Cross, married Farrell with whom she shared the joy of welcoming children: Dennis, Ray, Christy Lee, Kaylene Tippetts Norton, Sherry Lynn Tippetts, and Carla Tippetts Booth Doty.

Later in life, remarrying to her love, Frank, with whom she welcomed youngest, Karen Sue Salisbury Davenport into the world. She was also stepmother to Francis Salisbury Palmer and Melvin Frank Salisbury.

She lived a life of joy in others' happiness. She spent a lot of time creating wonderful works of art in the form of yarn, mostly. A talent longed for by many. As family and dear friends look back on her life, our sorrow of her passing is overcome by many fond memories of the woman she is and how she loved us all.
