Sarah Tribby was the wife of Nathaniel Gregory (1823-1873) and daughter of William Tribby and Sarah Rice. She was also the grand daughter of Susannah Shanks, who was a survivor of the Shanks Massacre as documented by Thurman B. Rice. She and Nathaniel are reportedly buried in Locust Grove Cemetery in un-marked graves, near Thomas Leonard Porter. She died between about 1905 and 1910. The last record we have of her is as deed a grantor on May 6 1905. She was NOT in the 1910 Census.
I have spent 15 years compiling a massive research document on the Gregory family and their friends, relatives and descendants. It remains incomplete and still very much a work in process, but a “1st Edition” volume is offered for download on Google Books for anyone interested in these families and the history of the area. Simply go to Google Play and Search for "Gregory Family Origins", or go to this URL: https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Nathan_Gregory_Gregory_Family_Origins?id=bBW8BAAAQBAJ
