Pauline F. Bruns, 92 of Independence, MO died Oct. 9, 2000, at the Medical Center of Independence. She was born Aug. 19, 1908, in La Monte, MO, and had lived in Independence most of her life.
She taught school in Independence and Liberty for 32 years before she retired.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Warrensburg, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Bruns, in 1983.
Her survivors include a nephew, Dennis E. Patton of Liberty, MO; and several other nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at First Christian Church of Warrensburg. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Warrensburg. Friends may call Thursday at the George C. Carson and Sons Independence Chapel.
