LADY'S ISLAND, S.C. -- Otis David Brunson Sr., 66, died Sept. 6 at home.
He was born in Ridgeland. He was an Army veteran and retired as Director of Planning and Leasing of General Services Administration in Washington, D.C. He was a graduate of Ridgeland High School and Clemson University. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church on Ladies Island, where he was on the Liturgy Committee. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Cosy Board and Foster Parents Association and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Barbara Hudson Brunson of Lady's Island; three sons, Otis David Brunson Jr. of Gastonia, N.C., Richard Charles Brunson of Stockbridge and John Michael Brunson of Beaufort; a daughter, Barbara Brunson Tito of Loganville; a foster daughter, Jasmine Moon of Beaufort; a brother, Ronald Franklin Brunson of Savannah; a half-sister, Virginia McTeer of Woodruff, S.C.; and nine grandchildren.
FUNERAL MASS: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Lady's Island, burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Savannah Now, Sept 1998
