Antonio V. Ramirez, 65, passed away October 5, 2014. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Abilene Funeral Home Chapel of Hope with Rev. Bobby King officiating. Burial will follow at Abilene Municipal Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Abilene Funeral Home, 3349 N. 12th St. Mr. Ramirez was born November 9, 1948, in Abilene, Texas to Mike and Belen Ramirez. He was a construction worker. Survivors include four sons, Anthony Ramirez of Baird, Matthew Ramirez of Abilene, Felipe Cerda of Baird and Michael Rodriguez of Coalinga, CA; two daughters, Melissa Gomez and husband, Arturo, and Rosa Linda Ramirez, all of Baird; two sisters, Vivian Danforth and Georgia White both of Waco; and 13 grandchildren. Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Bobby Danforth.
