Carl D. Green, Jr., 43 of Connersville, passed away peacefully January 2, 2013 at his residence.
The youngest of four sons, he was born August 17, 1969 in Columbus, Indiana to Carl D. and Rose D. (White) Green. He moved to Connersville with his family in 1972.
On April 20, 1991, he was married to Jeanette Ann Hicks of Connersville; Mrs. Green died May 12, 2010.
He attended Community Gospel Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan and, in the past, he enjoyed participating in demolition derbies.
Survivors include his parents, a son, Tim Green, a granddaughter, Carly Green, all of Connersville, three brothers, Terry Green and his wife Elizabeth of Connersville, Eddie Green and his wife Peggy of Liberty, Indiana, and Keith Green of Connersville, and his special friend and companion, Carla S. Guthrie of Connersville; he was also blessed with a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Pastor David Pinter, officiating; burial will be in Lick Creek Cemetery.
