She was born in Kokomo IN and is proud of her Hooser heritage. During the depression she moved to Florida with her family. Since there was little work available in Florida the family moved to Dayton Ohio. She attended Roosevelt High School and graduated in 1940. There were a group of her classmates who became good friends and called themselves the "Forty-She's". These friendships have lasted in excess of 50 years and have only been reduced by the death of one. She enjoys entertaining friends, dressing sharply, reading, and having a nice yard. Lives in Huber Heights from April-October and in Bonita Springs Florida from October-April. During her working carrier she worked for Leland Electric, Globe Industries, and Winters Bank. She also worked in the Voting Precinct as a Democrat represent. A good cook, fun loving and a loyal friend. She put up a hard fight with melanoma cancer for about one year. Her passing on October 14, 1997, left a large empty place in the family. Mom, I will always love you and cherish your memories.
