On October 8, 2014, God called my wonderful husband of 53 years, Lloyd W. Gillespie home to Heaven. He leaves behind me, Anna L. Gillespie, his wife, a son, Gary W. (Suzetta) Gillespie, two daughters, Lisa Gillespie Staley (Ken) and Tammy Beaty-Staley (Todd), four granddaughters, Brittany Beaty, Sirena Gillespie, Brittany Royce (Mason) and Lauren Wilson, seven grandsons, Dougie Dowden, Anthony Dowden (Angela), Avey Staley, Mitch Staley, Michael Staley, Talyn Gillespie and Dustin Purdy, great-grandchildren, Makenzie Griffith, Kaden Griffith, Trinity Purdy, Myles Dowden Brianna Royce and Logan Royce. He also leaves behind a brother, Cecil (Ann) Gillespie, his Parkview Wesleyan Church Family, friends at Saxony IU Rehab and so many other wonderful family and friends.

He proudly served his country in the US Army.

He loved God, his family, music, cars, playing his guitar and riding his motorcycle. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but we rejoice in the fact that he has been reunited in Heaven with his son-in-law, Kip Beaty along with other beloved family members.
