Lillington, NC: Mrs. Ramona Stewart West, age 84, of 2155 Keith Hills Road died Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be 12:00PM (Noon) Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Pleasant Memory Baptist Church in Coats. Officiating will be Revs. Stancil Baucom and Blair Little. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington.
Mrs. West was born July 29, 1930 in Harnett County to the late Rufus and Kedie Rambeaut Stewart. She was also preceded in death by children, Susan Gregory, Jimmy Gregory, and Carey Franklin; sister, Kisady Allen, and a brother, Bryson Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was a CNA in the health care field, and was a member of Pleasant Memory Baptist Church.
Surviving include her husband of 15 years, Arthur Lee West, Sr.; daughter, Dawn Franklin Doan & husband, Pat, of Lillington; step-son, Arthur Lee West, Jr. & wife, Beverly, of Charlotte; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at Pleasant Memory Baptist Church from 10:30AM to 11:30AM Saturday prior to the service.
