Wm T Hudnall died at the home of W.C. Hudnall Feb 23, 1893, age 92 years, 1 mos and 2 days. He was born in Buckingham Co VA Jan 21 1801. His parents ,moved to KY, there he married Miss Sarah Miller. 10 children were born to them. In 1848 they moved to Astoria IL. The mother died in 1885, 4 children preceded her in death. Mr Hudnall served in the Civil War in the 11th Illinois Cavalry.
****Wm T Hudnall applied for a pension in 1889.
***Sons Wm C and James Wesley served with the 85th Illinois Infantry
This is the grave of the elder Wm Hudnall, but his marker has the regiment of his son.
