Donald "Farmer" Biccum, age 74, of Monroe, MI, passed away Saturday August 16, 2014 in his home after a brief illness.

Don was born January 28, 1940 in Detroit, MI to John E. and Marian Lola (Ried) Biccum, in 1945 the Biccum family moved to Scofield, MI area. Don graduated from Dundee High School in 1958 and from Cleary College Ypsilanti with a degree in Business Administration. He married Donna Rumler in June of 1961.

Don was employed for Ford Motor Co. in Rawsonville and Dearborn for over 30 years in the Financial Analyst Department, retiring in January 1997. Don enjoyed restoring antique and classic cars, gardening, cooking, making wine, attending auto shows, auto races and also horse races. Don was a member of Monroe Antique Car Klub and International Mercury Club, he once owned a 1964 Mercury Comet that he drove around the "Brick Yard" in Indianapolis.

Don is survived by his daughters, Connie M. Biccum of Monroe, MI and Lynn M. Biccum of Sidney, N.Y.; siblings, Richard "Dick" Biccum of Maybee and Judy (Jim) Heiden of Brantford, Canada; his four legged friend, "Molly". Don was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Clinton W. Biccum.
