November 20, 1929 – February 18, 2011

Kenneth E. Sherry, 81, of Bryan, was taken into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, February 18, 2011 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. A memorial is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, February 26, at Hillier Funeral Home, preceded by a visitation from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.

Ken was born to Paul and Zada Sherry in Lafayette, Ind. He was a strong man of character and devoted to his family and his country.

Ken looked forward to his continued life with his Lord and Savior. He understood that salvation is a free gift from God by faith alone in Jesus Christ, alone. Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast".

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Zada Sherry.

He is survived by his wife of almost 35 years, Pat Sherry; his daughters, Zana Sherry, Trice Sherry and Kendell Aaronson; his sons, Chuck and wife, Julie Allen, Jeff and wife, Lisa Allen; grandchildren, Justin Aaronson, Seth Aaronson, Rebecca Aaronson, Shay Piecek, Lindsay Allen, Brett Allen, Jack Allen, Eric Allen, and Cole Allen; his brother, Dick Sherry; his sister, Kathy and husband, Jack Ryan; sister-in-law, Sylvia Stuart; brother-in-law, Chuck and wife, Marcia Stewart; numerous nephews, nieces and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Brazos Valley, 502 W. 26th St., Bryan, TX 77803; Berachah Church, 2815 Sage Road, Houston, TX 77056; Operation Grace World Missions, P. O.
