Apple River – Mrs. Ella Forbes, 89, died Saturday in the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Vesta Forbes, Apple River, with whom she had been living. Survivors include two brothers, Alfred T. Austin, Westfield, Iowa, and William G. Austin, La Crosse, Wis. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Bartell Funeral Home, Warren. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mount Carroll. Friends may call in the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday.
