Lemuel A Yates was born in Putnam County, TN to Lorenzo Dow Yates and Elizabeth Jared. He married Lula White on January 19, 1890 in Fannin County, Texas. She proceeded him in death and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Lemuel died Dec 19, 1945 at the Wichita Falls State Hospital and was removed to Ladonia, Texas by the Bradshaw Funeral Home. His death certificate does not give the name of the cemetery. I suspect that he is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery with Lula.
