Veteran Is Drowned
HASTINGS, Minn.,May 19-Coroner Kramer returned from Savage this evening with the body of the man supposed to have been accidentaly drwoned in the Minnesota River, two and a half miles from that town. The man ws John Ashley, aged seventy years. A fisherman, who lived ner McLeod's ferry in that vicinity. He had been missing since April 10, and the body was recovered by Charles McDermott. Mr. Ashley was a veteran of the Civil War.
