Ethel Lee Adams Turner Billingsley (née Briggs)

MOULTRIE -- Ethel Lee Billingsley, 85, of Moultrie died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Williams Tabernacle Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Edward Jones Jr. officiating. Interment followed at Strong Memorial Garden.

Born in Perry, Fla., Mrs. Billingsley was the daughter of the late George Henry Briggs and the late Geneva Briggs (née Burks). She was a housewife and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Beno Billingsley; two sons, Sam Adams and wife Annie Joyce of Albany and Willie Frank Adams and wife Loueice of Garfield Heights, Ohio; two daughters, Betty Jean Jones and husband Wilstrouia of Jacksonville, Fla., and Evelyn Cannon and husband Thomas of Willingboro, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; two goddaughters, Mabel Jones and Janice Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews.
