E. Eileen Eberle Carl, 82, of Center Township, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 12, 2010, in her home.
She was born May 26, 1927, in Rochester and was the daughter of the late Edward Myles and Margaret D. Price Ross. Eileen had been a resident of Center for the past 20 years and had formerly lived in Moon Township. She was a retired elementary teacher with the Moon Township School District, a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Rochester, and a former member of the D.A.R. and Business Professional Women.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin H. Eberle, in 1983, and a sister, Shirley Wiberg. Her husband, Harold N. Carl, is also deceased.
Mrs. Carl is survived by two sons and daughters-inlaw, Gary Edward and Karen Eberle, Oklahoma City, and Jeffrey Alan and Valerie Eberle, Hopewell Township; three grandchildren, Matthew and Kevin Eberle and Terri Booher, and two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Emily Booher. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the TODD FUNERAL HOME, 340 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Grace Lutheran Church, Rochester, by her pastor, the Reverend Gregory Clagg. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Monaca.The family suggests contributions in Mrs. Carl's memory may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church, 393 Adams Street, Rochester.1947, Mar 8: Edith E.
