Flora I. Sargent, age 86 of DeMotte, IN and formerly of Lake Village, IN passed away at the Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village, DeMotte, IN, on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014. Flora was born on September 7, 1928, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Denver and Esther (Purkey) Padgett.
Flora attended the Morocco Public Schools and was a Laminator for White Advertising, Shelby, IN for 30 years. Flora was a past member of the First Baptist Church of Roselawn, IN.
Flora leaves behind her children; Larry (Bonnie) Sargent of Las Vegas, NV, David (Mary Jane) Sargent SR of Reynolds, IN and Nancy (Gary) Witten of DeMotte, IN; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Flora was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, 1 great-grandson, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
