Minnie Irons, 90, of Baytown was born May 1, 1924, in Kosse, TX and passed away Friday, October 3, 2014, at St. James House in Baytown. She was a member of Wooster Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Irons; brothers, Bill and Jack Vickrey; and sister, Faye Gideon. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Brenda Irons of Crosby; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Mike McCracken of Friendswood; grandchildren, Kyle McCracken, Trenton and Colleen McCracken, and Clifton McCracken; great grandchildren, Sophia McCracken, Liam McCracken, and Caleb McCracken; and her friend and caregiver, Maricela and her children, Paulette and Andrew.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Services will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Shuttlesworth officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Trenton, Clifton, Kyle, and Mike McCracken, Andrew Hernandez, and Genaro Leal.
