Betty Jo Altman Tarrant, 72, passed away at the Southeast Georgia Medical Center in Brunswick. She was a bookkeeper and worked with many companies during her career. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Flem Altman and Ava Shuman Altman.
Memorialization was by cremation, with services at St. Johns United Methodist Church and cemetery.
Pearson-Treadwell Funeral Home of Blackshear was in charge.
